In the current context of frequent disruptions and a severe air defense situation, equipping on-duty personnel with body cameras will undoubtedly deter passengers with malicious intent. The Public Security Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued the "Regulations on the Use and Management of Body Cameras for Aviation Security Personnel," clarifying the principle of "mandatory use during duty, mandatory data storage, mandatory accountability, and prioritized handling." Public air transport enterprises bear the primary responsibility for the use and management of body cameras. The regulations clearly define the situations where aviation security personnel are required to wear body cameras while on duty. The purpose of airlines equipping personnel with body cameras is to enhance air security and upgrade services. Especially on special routes, body cameras must be kept on throughout the flight. Aviation security personnel are required to use body cameras in the following seven situations: (1) Wearing a body camera to check passengers' boarding passes and relevant documents as needed; (2) Wearing a body camera to conduct security checks on threatened aircraft and handle discovered explosives, flammable materials, and other suspicious items; (3) Wearing a body camera to prevent and stop illegal interference and disruptive behavior on board; (4) Wearing a body camera to take necessary restraint measures or forcibly remove individuals engaging in illegal interference or disruptive behavior on board; (5) Collecting evidence, mediating, and questioning; (6) Assisting in escorting criminal suspects or repatriated individuals on board, during personnel handover, and in case of emergencies; (7) Other situations requiring audio and video recording as requested by the public air transport enterprise's security department or authorized by the captain. The "Body Camera Regulations" also require that audio and video information from body cameras be stored for at least 90 days. In situations (2), (3), (4), and (5) above, it is necessary to use methods such as burning CDs or using mobile storage media to save the information, with a storage period of no less than 12 months. Aviation body cameras provide protection for airlines in handling disruptive and illegal interference behaviors. If the information collected by body cameras can be released in a timely manner, it can play a significant role in guiding public opinion and stopping rumors.

The "Law Enforcement Recorder Regulations" also require law enforcement recorders that the storage period for audio-video information should not be less than 90 days. In the case of situations (2), (3), (4), and (5) above, recording should be done by burning to a CD or using mobile storage media, with a storage period of no less than 12 months.
