Recently, the Ministry of Housing and Urban–Rural Development officially issued Document No. 3 of the Construction Quality Regulations [2025], mandating that, effective March 26, 2026, all full-time project safety production management personnel must wear safety inspection recorders at all times while on duty to comprehensively document their performance of duties. Any tampering with the original video recordings is strictly prohibited, and the recorded footage must be retained for no less than six months. This policy not only establishes rigid standards for construction safety supervision but also drives a shift in site safety management from “post-event investigation” to end-to-end digitalization, accelerating the development of smart construction sites and providing clear guidance for the widespread adoption of intelligent equipment.

Recently, the finals of the first Shandong Province Future Industries Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition concluded successfully. The project “Special Operation Safety Equipment Based on Multimodal Fusion Analysis,” submitted by ZECN, stood out and won the third prize. The competition was organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Working Committee of Provincial Organs of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, and the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, with support from entities including the Shandong Artificial Intelligence Association. With the theme “Moving Forward Toward the New, Leading the Future,” the competition focused on six major future industry sectors and attracted 130 project teams to participate.
