On April 24, 2025, the second working group meeting on the formulation of group standards for the power industry, hosted by the Electromechanical Instrument and Meter Branch of the China Instrument and Meter Industry Association and undertaken by ZECN Zhiye, was successfully held in Jinan. This meeting focused on the formulation of relevant group standards for the power industry. Many experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives from the industry, including Cao Yongjun, chairman of ZECN Zhiye, and the manager of the product R&D department, attended the meeting and contributed to promoting the standardized development of the power industry.

This meeting focused on the formulation of relevant group standards for the power industry. Numerous experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives from the industry, including Cao Yongjun, Chairman of ZECN Zhiye, and the Product R&D Department Manager, participated, collectively contributing to promoting the standardized development of the power industry.

In the morning, the second working group meetings for the formulation of the group standards "Digital Management Device for Power Supply Service Tools and Equipment" and "High-Voltage Electric Energy Measurement Devices Part 1: General Requirements" were held successively. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions around the drafts of these two standards, offering numerous constructive opinions and suggestions on technical details, application scenarios, and implementation feasibility within the standards. Everyone freely expressed their views, analyzing the standards from different perspectives, striving to make them more complete, scientific, and aligned with the actual needs and future development trends of the power industry.


In the afternoon, the meeting focused on the group standard "Carbon Footprint Accounting Method for Metering Boxes". As global attention to environmental protection and sustainable development continues to grow, the power industry is also actively responding to the concept of green development. The formulation of this standard is of great significance for accurately accounting for the carbon footprint of metering boxes and promoting energy conservation, emission reduction, and green transformation in the power industry. During the discussion, experts had a heated debate on key issues such as carbon footprint accounting methods, data sources, and calculation models, laying a solid foundation for developing authoritative and operable standards.
